THE WHAT? Barneys New York is returning as a beauty and wellness brand, with South Korea-based Gloent Group launching Barneys New York Beauty, according to WWD.com.
THE DETAILS While the department store closed its bricks and mortar stores in the U.S. in 2020, the new range will now include a cleanser, serum and two creams, with prices ranging from US$48 to US$168.
Hand products and a lip balm are said to be launching later in the year, which will be followed by a body wash, hair care, fragrance and scented candle collection.
THE WHY? Barney’s New York boasted a cult following in the U.S., with the new products set to be available on the dedicated website www.barneys-beauty.com.
