Price Chopper/Market 32, a grocery store chain, has issued a voluntary manufacturer recall on Mount Royal Kids Citrus Foaming Hand Soap for being possibly contaminated with P. Aeruginosa, a hazardous microorganism, according to a press release.

The microorganism poses a health risk, especially to immunocompromised individuals, the release said.

Customers who purchased the possibly contaminated hand soap can return it to their local Price Chopper/Market 32 store for a full refund, the press release said. Already many customers who’ve already purchased the product have been contacted through a recall notification program Price Chopper/Market 32 runs through communications company Broadnet, according to the statement.

The notification program uses purchase data from customer phone numbers on file to contact people who may have purchased the hand soap, the statement said.
