STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — As the new school year approaches, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has changed the amount teachers can deduct for classroom expenses this year.
The IRS reminded teachers and other educators that they will be able to deduct up to $300 in out-of-pocket expenses for 2022 when they file their federal income tax return next year.
