Every day year round, a farmer is working their fields, milking the cows, shearing a sheep or harvesting the fruits of their labor.

These Greater Hartford farmers markets help support Connecticut farmers by showcasing their goods. Pick up some bright red tomatoes for a salad, homemade soap, vegetables for a delicious dinner or fresh bread straight from the oven at your local market. Some of the markets even offer meat, honey, kettle corn and more.

Held weekly usually until the fall, these farmers markets are great places to support local business. Make sure to bring cash - only some vendors accept credit cards - and get there early for the best deals.
