A stretching studio in Glendale will be the first of four Stretch Zone locations in Wisconsin set to open soon.

At Stretch Zone in Bayshore, 385 W. Eastshore Drive, certified practitioners will guide clients with a personalized assisted stretching session when the studio opens June 6 next to Bath & Body Works.

Beckie Kaczkowski, CEO at Stretch Zone Wisconsin, said she is excited to bring the first Wisconsin franchise to Bayshore.

“We looked at several locations, but nothing could match the energy and excitement of Bayshore,” Kaczkowski said in a statement. “We are happy to be a part of this thriving community.”

Mary Mokwa, senior general manager at Bayshore, shared Kaczkowski’s excitement for opening the Glendale studio.

“Stretch Zone is the perfect addition to our community because of the unique health benefits it can provide our guests,” Mokwa said in a statement.

Stretch Zone’s certified practitioners offer an experience that boosts energy, enhances mental clarity and makes clients feel better, according to the Bayshore website.

The studio uses its strap system and proprietary tables to isolate and stabilize muscles while clients control the session based on their comfort levels.

“While traditional stretching methods attempt to make you more ‘flexible,’ we work to adjust the stretch reflex,” the Stretch Studios website reads.

The Stretch Zone Method aims to help clients feel lighter and younger, relieve stiffness and soreness, enhance athletic performance, increase and maintain range of motion and enhance physical and athletic skills.

Stretch Zone will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Stretch Zone locations in Brookfield, Delafield and Madison are scheduled to open soon.
