Rihanna's Fenty Beauty quickly garnered a cult-like following thanks to its inclusive collection of lip glosses, highlighters, eyeliners, foundations, and more. Since the brand's launch in 2017, all of its products have been met with tremendous levels of enthusiasm (and plenty of sales). Well, until now.
Fenty fans were left wondering if the brand was playing a prank on them following the unveiling of a new collaboration with the art collective known as MSCHF. If you recall, MSCHF previously released a line of Eat the Rich popsicles that poked fun at billionaires like Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.

The two brands have collaborated on a small makeup kit that includes what appears to be six packets of ketchup. Now this is where things get messy, literally. Some of the packets contain sparkly lip gloss from Fenty Beauty. The other packets contain ketchup. Since all of the packets are completely sealed, it's up to you to find out if it's ketchup or makeup.
While it sounds like a potentially good time, some Fenty diehards are a bit unsure about the collab, especially given the fact that the kit will cost you $25.
One user on Instagram revealed that they could purchase both items for the same price, writing: "I could buy a gloss and a bottle of ketchup for that price and they would both close. Doesn’t look like the packets close. Pass!" Another concerned commenter asked, "Is Rihanna still on maternity leave… who signed off?"
If mysterious lip gloss is your thing, you can purchase the makeup kit at KetchupOrMakeup.com.
